At the club meeting on the Monday before Easter, Eddie Clarke made a presentation on Rotary Youth Exchange, and his involvement, experience, challenges and highlights throughout the many years of supporting this very worthwhile activity.

Through Rotary, this provides challenging outdoor activities for young people from Maidenhead, Tivoli, St Cloud and Bonn, our link clubs in Europe.

Acknowledgment and thanks was also shown to former member,  Martin Trepte, without whom  the event would be difficult to run.

Rotary youth exchange reaches a  milestone in 2025, celebrating a half century as an official Rotary International programme. This 50th anniversary observes a unique opportunity to inspire future generations of volunteers and promote Rotary to the community.

The vicar of Bray Reverend Ainsley Swift also attended the presentation and was warmly welcomed by the club’s members.
