| Members of Maidenhead Rotary Club (which recently celebrated its own Centenary) were delighted to join the celebrations marking the 40th anniversary of Maidenhead Thames Rotary Club’s charter at a special dinner held at The Bull, Bisham, on Thursday 19th June 2026. Representing the club, President Maria Scavetta attended the event with her husband, Tony. They joined President Mark Loader and members of Maidenhead Thames Rotary Club for what proved to be a memorable and enjoyable evening. The occasion was particularly significant as Maidenhead Thames Rotary Club is the daughter club of Maidenhead Rotary Club, making the milestone a proud moment for both organisations. Throughout the evening, founder members shared their memories and experiences of establishing the club four decades ago. Their speeches provided a fascinating insight into the club’s history and achievements and were delivered in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that reflected the strong fellowship for which Rotary is renowned. President Maria Scavetta said she was honoured to be invited to take part in the celebrations and to witness the warmth and camaraderie shared by members past and present. She remarked that it was inspiring to hear the stories of the founder members and to celebrate the enduring success of a club that continues to make a positive difference in the local community. |   The dinner was a great success and provided a fitting tribute to the achievements of Maidenhead Thames Rotary Club over the past four decades.
