| On Friday evening, President Maria Scavetta and fellow Rotarian Ron Walker, were delighted to represent Maidenhead Rotary Club at the Rotary District 1090 Handover held at the beautiful Bisham Abbey. The event brought together Rotarians from across the district to celebrate the end of one Rotary year and the beginning of another. One of the highlights of the evening was the formal handover of the District Governor’s regalia from DG Neil to DGE Kalpana, marking the start of a new year of service and leadership. They both said that it was a pleasure to meet and catch up with several Past District Governors, fellow Club Presidents and Rotarians from neighbouring clubs. These occasions are a wonderful reminder of the strength of Rotary’s fellowship and the shared commitment we all have to making a difference in our communities and around the world. |  Following a delicious dinner, they enjoyed excellent entertainment from It’s a Swing Thing, which rounded off a thoroughly enjoyable evening in a fantastic setting. Maria and Ron were proud to represent Maidenhead Rotary Club and returned inspired for the year ahead. They look forward to working with clubs across District 1090 and continuing to strengthen the friendships and partnerships that make Rotary so special. |
