We've been busy planting trees!...

To celebrate our upcoming Centenary in 2026, our club has donated prunus trees to six local secondary schools!

The first to be planted was at Furze Platt School with Gardening Club students from Year 7 to Sixth Form helping us.

Desborough College were up next with our President Maria Scavetta joining with Allison Salsbury and the Deputy Headmaster Damian Edwards to plant their tree.

Altwood School’s new tree is in the centre of their Quadrant and the hope is the blossoms brighten the classrooms and offices that look out over it!

Club member Yvonne visited Newlands to plant their tree; Claire’s Court did a splendid job of planting their tree, and the final tree was planted at Cox Green School on 15th December.

We’re really proud we’ve been able to donate these trees to our local community as a living legacy for our Centenary next year!
