A plantswoman's garden
46 Wavell Road has all year interest, and is wildlife friendly. It has many small trees and flowering shrubs, and deep curving borders packed with herbaceous perennials and bulbs.

The owner Lesley likes to grow a lot of plants from seed she has saved herself, and chooses plants to encourage pollinators, butterflies and birds into the garden.

There is a small pond to provide a haven for newts and dragonflies.

She likes to recycle and upcycle, and recycled windows have been used in a large summerhouse at the bottom of the garden, part which has a glass roof so Lesley can propagate her plants and keep tender plants through the winter.

There is something for everyone in this garden.
