Henderson ProjectThe Henderson Primary School project in Zimbabwe, which is being supported by the Rotary Club of Maidenhead, aims to improve the school facilities and build a much-needed toilet block for the pupils.
After numerous delays, and school holidays etc, the building is now constructed and work is slowly progressing on the plumbing, before completion of the project. The school had completed work up to Stage 6 in 2024, when their limited funds ran out. This work included the foundations, brickwork on the walls to bring them above ground to DPC level, and backfilling with rubble to base slab level. Stage 7 in 2025 included plumbing materials, cement for the base slab, and a large water storage tank. |
