The Rotary Club of Maidenhead's Charity Golf Day was held on Thursday 1st June 2017 at Maidenhead Golf Club.
We were very fortunate to have the support of our Sponsors – yet again – who are ‘1825’. 1825 is the Financial Services Division of Standard Life and the name comes from the year in which Standard Life commenced business. Thanks to their generous sponsorship and the team entries – mostly from local businesses – we raised over £7,800 on the day.
This is our major fund raising event and the proceeds will enable us to continue supporting both local residents and people living in third world countries, less fortunate than ourselves.
Below is a photograph of our winning team, Donald Reid Group, who have been in business in Maidenhead for over 50 years. In the middle of the photograph is Perry Rapley, the Director in charge of 1825’s office in Twyford.
