| On Wednesday 20th July the club entered a team of four golfers in the Annual Charity Golf Match organised by the Rotary Cub of Windsor and Eton. It was an extremely hot day - 29 degrees at lunchtime - but the group battled on to the finish with a total of 87 points. The winners scored 93 points so our team were not so far behind. Although the team did not win, Brian Aldridge took the prize for nearest the pin. A picnic lunch was followed in the evening with welcome drinks and a delicious supper in the Eton Masters' Dining Room. A really lovely end to a Summer golf competition.
