On Wednesday 13 June, Year 6 pupils from Riverside School joined with Year 6 pupils from Larchfield for a very enjoyable trip to Thorpe Park.
They celebrated the conclusion of their junior years by having a special day out, which was traditionally funded by the Rotary Club of Maidenhead, with some support from 'Kids Out'. All the pupils were very excited, and expressed their gratitude to the Rotarians who accompanied the party.
Rotary were really impressed by the 'magnificent seven' teachers, who under the enthusiastic leadership of Mrs Cole from Larchfield, and Mrs Palfrey from Riverside made sure that the day was a real success.
All 61 pupils and 7 teachers had a great time, taking in as many rides as possible. The children returned to the coach, tired and somewhat wet, but very happy to have spent such a fun day with their friends.
