The annual President's Handover took place on Monday 25th June during the club's evening meeting at Maidenhead Golf Club. After a very successful year, President Gurdip Bahra handed over the chain of office to Anne Matkin who will be the President for 2018-2019, and Sean Egan will be Vice President.
During the meeting, President Gurdip had the pleasure of giving a cheque to Claire Booth, a member of Maidenhead Bridge Rotary Club, to help them with their current project in Nepal.
Claire recently spent two weeks in Gorkha Hills where the club is helping to rebuild Saurpani Primary School, a local school which was very close to the epicentre of the terrible earthquake that happened two years ago.
