For his final act as our President, and on a warm summer’s evening, David Cager handed over the chain of office to our new President for 2017-2018 - Gurdip Bahra. Maidenhead Golf Club was the venue for this event with Rotarians and their wives/husbands/partners present, together with guests from our local Rotaract Club and Mike and Nanuca Thomas of the Rotary Club of Bacalod North in the Philippines. Our new President Gurdip also handed over his Vice Presidential jewel to our new Vice President-Elect, Anne Matkin.

Another very pleasant event during the evening was the presentation to David Putnam of a well-deserved Paul Harris Fellowship, awarded for his stalwart service to our club over the years.
We were also treated to one of Mike Holness’s interesting (and sometimes frustrating) Quizzes.
We now look forward to our New Rotary Year in the capable hands of President Gurdip Bahra and his wife Sati. We wish them every success for their year.
