 | Wendy Meeks and Pat Knowles were each presented with a cheque in appreciation of their service to the Club at the meeting on Monday 3rd June. Wendy has worked at the Holiday Inn for 33 years and is retiring and Pat is continuing to work for the Holiday Inn but on an “as needed basis”. The photo shows our Club Secretary Frank presenting them both with a small gift as an appreciation of their roles as our “Serving Ladies” for many years. A tearful Wendy said that she felt that we have all been her friends for many years and it had been a pleasure to serve us. We will greatly miss them both. |
