On Wednesday 9th November our team of enthusiastic darts players - Brian Aldridge, Sean Egan, David Perry and Peter Graham - drove to Henley for a match against the Rotary Club of Henley at Henley Conservative Club.
Despite a valiant rearguard action from Dave ‘Arrows’ Perry, we were hammered by a bunch of “ringers” from the local darts club dressed up as Rotarians. Stitched up yet again. OK, not really, we were generally shocking and deserved to lose….badly. Peter got the prize however for the Rotarian most likely to look like a professional darts player…not sure why!
However, the Henley chaps were a decent bunch and the victory was well-deserved.
