The annual skittles match with Maidenhead Rotaract Club was held on Thursday September 24th at The Jack O' Newbury public house in Binfield.
The Rotary team made up from friends, partners and members outnumbered the Rotaract team, but what they lacked in numbers they made up for in enthusiasm. Adam Hunter the President of Maidenhead Bridge Rotary Club came along as a guest player to boost their team. Due to some very constructive chalking of the scores by Pat Moore, Rotaract managed to come out as the winners.
Everyone had a good time, there was plenty of beer, plenty of good pub food, and doughnuts kindly provided by June Moore.
The next leg of the competition will be played by the Rotary Club of Maidenhead Bridge versus Rotary Club of Maidenhead Thames. The winner will then play Rotaract for an amazing silver cup (purchased at great expense from the Pound shop!).
