In August Sylvia Keris, a Rotarian from the Rotary Club of Eccleshall Mercia, walked the Thames Path from Cricklade to the Thames Barrier, in aid of two charities: Rotary End Polio Now and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
During her walk she was hosted by members of Rotary clubs from towns along the route. On our stretch of the journey she was met by President Tony at Romney Lock, Windsor and stayed for two nights before continuing. On returning to Romney Lock to to walk the next leg to Shepperton, she was accompanied by Tony and Cathie who walked with her to Datchet.

Sylvia completed the 185 miles at the Thames Barrier on Monday 24th August. We congratulate her on this great achievement. Club members had collected £100 for her two charities and she was presented with a cheque, for which she was very grateful.
