The annual club Wine Quiz was held at Maidenhead Rugby Club on Friday 22nd February. It was a very convivial evening, with 8 wines to taste from around the world, while trying to guess the answers to the quiz. Not surprisingly, the questions seemed to get more and more difficult as the wine tasting progressed...
A 'Heads and Tails' competition was held and the lucky winner was Neerja Maudgil.
Many thanks to the Fund Raising Committee for organising such an enjoyable and sociable event, which raised over £750 for the club's charity funds. Thanks also go to Rosario and Gordon from the Italian Continental Stores who provided the wines and delicious platters of anti pasta, and organised the quiz.
