 When our sons grew up we no longer needed a grand prix track, a water slide or a fort so we decided to create an Adult Garden that required minimal maintenance and was a relaxing place to drink gin and tonic, to read books and listen to music. Malcolm did the ‘hardware’ side of the project and constructed a path with borders and an outdoor dining with used pallets (American close-boarded pallets to be precise), while Jennie focused on the ‘software’ side with the plants etc. It took a while to get to where we are now but we are pleased with the results and spend as much time as we can in the garden.
